Edinburgh College is seeking some enthusiastic and experienced Education Support Officers to join their primary and Secondary department for the 2025 school year (for approximately 31.25 hours per week over five days). This role would suit an individual who wants to have the school holidays free.
The focus of the Education Support Officer is to assist individual students or small groups of students during learning and extra-curricular activities, including sports days and excursions, as directed by the classroom teacher. In addition, the Education Support Officer also assists in the preparation, distribution and collection of classroom materials and administrative duties, such as the keeping of student and equipment records.
