At Edinburgh College, we understand that making decisions about life after high school can be challenging. As such, we seek to support students through the various transitions within secondary education and beyond. This includes support with all important VCE subject selections, post-secondary study and future career decisions.
Careers services and support at Edinburgh College are headed by Mrs Kristen Hokin our experienced Careers Advisor. Here, careers support takes a multifaceted approach, aiming to support students as individuals. Students are encouraged to consider possible futures through engagement with newsletters, on-campus events and excursions. While the aim of our careers support is on students from Year 9-12, students in all year levels have access to one-on-one career appointments and support.
In 2024, we are pleased to announce the launch of our new careers website. This site provides students and parents with a useful starting point for their research and investigation into potential courses and careers. The site highlights upcoming events and provides links to the EC Careers Newsletter as well as other resources.
