The school consists of a multi-classroom building, built in 2010, which allows all classrooms to open onto the undercover walkways and the gardens. The following year the Learning Centre, Multipurpose Centre, Art Room and administration areas were added to the school.
Edinburgh College Primary is a well-resourced learning community nestled amongst a picturesque area of the college campus. Children can enjoy outdoor play on our playground, basketball court and soccer field, or relax in our tranquil garden setting.
Students can enjoy the educational benefits of the school’s Language and Music Centre, which is equipped with reinforced soundproofed walls, allowing students to participate openly without potential disruption. All students have access to this wonderful centre throughout the week.
Our primary campus is equipt with soccer facilities, a full basketball court, a zoned playground, including an area for risky play. During PE lessons, students occasionally have to added benefit of utilising the Secondary facilities, including their tennis courts.
Students regularly visit the Secondary Campus Library Resource Centre to borrow books (the Library is filled with Primary books too). This is just one example of the ever-growing partnerships that occur across our entire campus.
Each week in our Multipurpose Centre, students participate in our Assembly, Values and Chapel Programs. Sporting activities, visiting groups, local performances and information sessions also utilise this fantastic facility.
Weekly Art classes are taught in our purpose-built Art room. Students engage in various mediums, such as paint, clay, knitting, sketching and more. Our Happy Hands Program also operates from this room.
